Miley Finally Addresses Her Bong Controversy — Are You Satisfied or Still Wanting an Apology?

Miley Cyrus is front and center on the March cover of Marie Claire as she kicks off her press tour for her upcoming movie LOL, which hits theaters in April. In addition to talking about her big-screen work, Miley finally addressed her headline making use of a bong to inhale salvia last year. She commented that tons of kids her age smoke, but the difference is that they're not famous. She said, "But they're not Miley Cyrus. They're not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for." Her statement stopped short of an apology, but she's clearly taking some responsibility for her actions. Tell us what you think — are you satisfied with what she said or do you think she owes fans an apology?

i don't understand the logic behind people wanting celebritied to "apologize" to THEM for their behavior. how will that have any effect on the situation? no one can take back what has already been done. the only people she needs to apologize to are her parents.

She doesn't owe anyone anything. She is one of the most honest people in the business, its a little scary. Selena Gomez, now shits gonna hit the fan when her nudes come out.

to quote "Little Rock" from "Zombieland": "She's only famous when she's Hannah Montana, when she's wearing the wig"...please send her away, she's not relevant, looks and sounds like a chipmunk on steroids

I don't care what the heck she does. All of these parents get up in arms about her being a role model for their kids -- and I understand that a lot of girls look up to her, but it is the parent's responsibility to explain to your child what is right and wrong. Anyways, whether you're famous or not, smoking salvia is a dumb idea.

Yep, tons of kids smoke. And they are all idiots, famous or not.
