Miranda Lambert might be a country girl, but she seems to be enjoying city living. On June 28, the singer shared a rare photo of herself with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, posing on a New York City rooftop. In her caption, Miranda wrote, "NYPDA," which is a cheeky nod to her husband's profession as an officer with the New York City Police Department.
Miranda and Brendan got married in a secret ceremony [2] earlier this year, and Miranda later shared the news on Valentine's Day in a post that read, "I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!" A few months later, the couple made their first joint red carpet appearance at the 2019 ACM Awards [3].
Miranda recently opened up about her marriage [5], as well as finding love again after her high-profile divorce from Blake Shelton [6] in 2015. She said, "I'm thrilled to be married and having a great time." Miranda added, "You go through life's journey, up and down, and you don't know what to expect and you have fails and victories. But I love love and I'm always in search for it. I've found the person who loves it as much as I do. And it just works."
