All right, so I didn't really enjoy that video and thought they sounded pretty bad, but I'd be lying if I said I won't go see the show. Me and my girlfriends are totally going to see them. Just to re-live that time in our lives. :)

It's funny how you post the worst moments and ask people to judge it. Anyway, given the fact that they were having fun out there pleasing their fans in the pouring rain, there is no other band in the WORLD that loves their fans this much. Jon even came to visit the fans who were waiting in line two nights before the show. How sweet is that? Joe even mentioned in an interview that what they have with their fans is "very special" and he's right. Besides, it's pretty obvious the negative commenters don't know anything about dancing & singing. You can NOT dance around & sing perfectly. Your diaphragm doesn't allow that. It's like trying to sing on the same key while doing jumping jacks. Please do your research before commenting. Welcome back, New Kids. We love you! OMIGAWD WE LOVE YOU!!

Ouch! That was painful! How can some people be commenting that it wasn't that horrible! Seriously? It was like Spinal Tap performing at the military base.

I agree with #50. You have to be over 25, to really know them, and they were a huge hit with lots of young back then. I think they were pretty good! Not some people's "type of music", but they will have plenty of fans to carry them through. Good for them.

I think the sound quality wasnt so hot but they look pretty good considering the many years that have gone by and they can still sing

And I have to add that Donny what's his face is a pretty good actor. Have you seen "dreamcathers?" I didn't even know he was Duddy until after.

OK so I was a total metal head when they were popular the first time. But, the nostalgia of a band whose members are my age was cool. What's wierd is I knew all their songs! I'm glad they're doing this and I hope it goes well for them. I remember when they played tiny venues and little kids loved them. Now those kids are grown too! Good for them!!! Yes, they were just OK on the Today Show but it was raining so dancing must have been a bitch. At the time...my hip hurt so kudos for them!

Hmm, I think I was like 11 back when they were around the first time, and I completely loved them, went to bed listening to them every night, spent all my money on their memorabilia, but honestly, even then I was embarrassed that I liked them. Now, I'm simply embarrassed for them because I know better. HAHA It's like they don't know whether to be the old NKOTB or bring something new to it, and it just looks uncomfortable and silly.

hmmm, well it did not start off too good. Jordan's voice really wasn't on key and I was pretty disappointed that they didn't do any new songs. I was really looking forward to them coming back but I was assuming that they were gonna make themselves more current, not just sing the same old songs.

i thought they were okay. donnie rocked it (of course). and joe was a doll. all the others...meh. jordan is so douchebagesque. jonathan still looks like he would rather be somewhere else. nothing has changed. :rotfl:

So awful and their song lyrics are so off their old age already.

I love them and I always have even though I was probably like 5 when my sister listened to them. I love their new song, i think it's a good direction for them. It is a little creepy that they are older men but whatever, as long as they're having fun right?

For starters, the mics weren't level during the first medly here...what isn't posted are the next 2 songs that sounded and looked AWESOME after they fixed the audio glitches. If you are going to do a poll like this, the least this site can do is put up video of the whole performance for people to judge! Their new song is hot and it sounded awesome live!

I was in the city this morning for a work conference and forgot all about it. :( Women were on line for 48 hours though. My love for them isn't nearly that strong anymore. ;) I will be going to their concert though. I think it's more about the memories that hearing their songs bring back vs are they good enough for a comeback/reunion. I can't get Jordan and The Surreal Life out of my head -- and I will ALWAYS love Donnie. :)

Oh. My. Gawd. ** I think anyone under the age of 25 won't understand. ** You just had to be there the first time around. I nursed a MAJOR obsession with NKOTB (yes, I can admit that now) and yes, the thought of a reconstituted NKOTB is cringe-inducing, but that performance wasn't as bad as it had the potential to be. Joey Mac crooning "Pleeeeease don't go giiiiirl...!" definitely took me back!

I think you had to live it to understand...it wasn't the greatest performance but it brought back great memories and made me happy. It's not about artistic quality- I mean, it's the New Kids people. Were you concerned about "talent" when you were 11? It's all about fun and I think they had fun performing and brought back great memories for their fans. They have nothing to be embarassed about! Except maybe those back up dancers....ugh.

As a former fan... it's a bit sad, honestly. The moves, the old songs... come on! Joey is the only one who can still sing - probably because he was actually performing in the last few years, and not selling real estate ;-)

I love it! Hey if it's good enough for the frigging Spice Girls...
