The world is used to seeing Niall Horan hit up award shows with One Direction [1], but the singer showed off his solo star power when he attended the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA on Sunday night. The "This Town" singer [2], who performed his hit song [3] during the show, looked handsome [4] in a gray suit and glasses on the red carpet. He also had a friendly run-in with his former bandmate, Zayn Malik [5], during the show when he approached him for a handshake. While we do miss seeing One Direction, we're loving Niall's solo career so far!
