In case you haven't heard yet, the Jonas Brothers are back [1], and one person who definitely seems excited about their reunion is John Stamos. While John may not seem like your typical Jonas Brothers fan [2], the 55-year-old actor has actually never shied away from showing love for the band, and he even shared the screen with Nick Jonas [3] on Scream Queens [4]. As of recently, though, Nick and John's bromance has reached new heights, and it's pretty hilarious. Let's take a walk down memory lane and see how it all started.
October 2018: John Goes Public With His Love For the Jonas Brothers
After repeatedly being spotted wearing a Jonas Brothers t-shirt [6], John went public with his love for the Jonas Brothers by wearing one of their band t-shirts to the 2018 American Music Awards.
February 2019: Nick Makes His Move
Clearly flattered, Nick was seen heading out of JFK airport a few months later wearing — what else? — a tee with John's face on it. Not only that, but the photo on the t-shirt just happened to be of John wearing a Jonas Brothers tee. "It's your move @johnstamos #jonasbrothers #sucker," Nick wrote on Instagram [7].
March 2019: Things Get Serious
Not only did John make his move, but he certainly did not disappoint. Shortly after, the actor posted a photo of himself sleeping with a pillowcase that had a photo of Nick wearing a shirt with his face on it. "I had the craziest dream last night..." John wrote. LOL!
Guess it's your move now, Nick!
March 2019: Nick Takes It Up a Notch
Nick didn't let John have the last laugh. The singer decided to print out John's picture on a duvet cover.
March 2019: John Declares His Love in Permanent Ink
Just when we thought Nick had won the back-and-forth battle, John delivers this shocker: a tattoo of Nick's face. But now we need to know . . . is it real?!
June 2019: John Deems Himself "Uncle Jonas"
On June 1, the Fuller House actor introduced the band ahead of their Wango Tango set [8] clad in a Jonas Brothers concert tee and tattoos of Kevin, Joe, and Nick on his arm. He later posed for a picture with the brothers, which he captioned "Uncle Jonas [9]," and Nick couldn't help but bow down to his greatest fan.
