Orlando Bloom Talks About Miranda Kerr With Katie Couric

Orlando Bloom Gives First Interview Since Split

Orlando Bloom opened up about his recent separation from wife Miranda Kerr in a candid sit-down interview with Katie Couric, airing Friday. In the clip, which you can watch now, Orlando talks about how the two are holding up during the difficult time, saying, "We love each other. We're a family, and we're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives." He added, "Life sometimes doesn't work out exactly as we plan or hope for, but we're adults and professionals, and we love and care about each other — and most of all, we love our son."

Orlando and Miranda announced their split in a joint statement earlier this week, saying that they have been "amicably separated for the past few months." Despite news of their breakup, it seems as though the former couple is working hard to stay friends for the sake of their son, Flynn. Miranda and Orlando were spotted out and about together with the little one this week, even sharing a hug and kiss.

OMG! I mean if he loves Miranda, why divorce her? Okay, what's this stuff about Orlando hooking up with Condola Rashad, his co-star in Romeo & Juliet? Hot couple but come on. He was married with a child. He's 36 not 56. (Men in their 50's flip out a little.) Hey, maybe it's just a rumor. We'll see. It's not like Condola is a model and you know Orlando and Leo have a rule about only dating models.
