I agree with pinupsweetheart. She does deserve it. If you drink and drive, you deserve to do the time.

Most of my friends are Paris fans and are devastated by this. As much as this is interesting to read and hear about I don't want to comment one way or another about it. I'm not a fan but showing repsect.

:woo hoo: GOOD! I really hope she serves the full 45 days as well.

They already gave her a break when they dropped the DUI counts and changed it to reckless driving, probabtion, suspended license and alcohol awareness classes.. and she screwed that up! I really hope she serves all 45 days.. also no colored contacts, extensions or makeup. Yikes! Luckily she won't be able to see herself too clearly in the polished metal mirror.

Any days she does will still be with the same food, used clothing, one hour a day to bathe, watch tv, phone people, etc. I'm bummed that she probably won't serve more days because all the people who get a DUI in LA County are going to point to her light sentence and try to use it as ground for appeal for a lighter sentence themselves. In 2005, 16885 people died in drunk driving accidents. It shouldn't be taken lightly.

I think deriving joy from someone else's pain is totally justified in this case. I thought it was hilarious when I heard this, but I'm all cynic. She'll never serve the full 45 days, and if she does it'll be fairly cushy compared to the experiences of regular inmates.

she'll be actually out in like 5 days. sheriffs usually kick pple out of jail after serving 20% of the time on non-serious crimes. This is because jails are overcrowded in LAC. So it will NOT be 45 days per se. Don't worry. Plus she probably will be in solitary cell or some isolation or max security, to make sure no one is going to touch her. But it will be a lession for her, I am not sure it will teach her to be anymore responsible person. She will probably write like a book after this experience or make a film/documentary and make a bank, we will see that she will turn in into some money venture anyways. Guaranteed.

fyi-paris was not charged with a dui because she blew 1 point over the legal limit. she was charged with reckless driving while under the influence of alcohol. this is just a waste of time and tax payer money. she doesnt see the error of her ways because mommy and daddy are making excuses for her. she needs to see the consequences of her actions and she needs to know what its like to work with people who do not have her privelege the judge had an opportunity to teach her a true lesson and instead he decided to do what was in the best interest of politics. wouldnt it be good if we could hop a flight to anywhere,so long to this life, so much fun pretending, cause bad luck's never endin

Yea, I wish she would have to serve every minute too, but realistically, they will probably cite over crowding or something else and let her off light. I think that would be a mistake, because every future DUI is going to use that as an example in their own sentencing. Fatalities from alcohol and driving have been on an upward trend in recent years, in part because offenders don't take it seriously, so I think it sends the wrong message to let Paris and Michelle Rodriguez off easy. Although at least Michelle seems to have taken it seriously.

The DA felt that their case was pretty strong so there may not be much ground for an appeal. Of course they can still file one to try and delay her serving, and maybe some judge will lower the sentence a little, but I don't think she can entirely get free of some punishment.

Loren.. get this. While some celebrities are able to request a specific jail to serve their their time a "little easier" (smaller, less people, more perks) and pay a daily rate or room charge. The judge has blocked Paris from making any request to do so. Should she report to the Century Regional Detention Center, Hilton will be living in a one- or two-person cell as a high-profile inmate, segregated from the general population for her own safety. Her cell would be spartan: 12-by-8 feet with a toilet, sink, a mirror made of polished metal, and a window 6 inches wide, said Capt. Alice Scott, who oversees the 2,200-inmate facility she describes as "a very nice place." Hilton can expect to receive three low-sodium meals a day, with dinner the only hot meal. Inmates in segregation are allowed outside their cells for at least an hour each day to shower, watch television in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone, Scott said. There are a bank of phones that use prepaid phone cards — cellular telephones and Blackberries aren't allowed. Not even her beloved sidekick. Welcome to the real world Paris. Where actions have consequences and money doesn't neccessarily buy everything... oh she had better serve every second of that sentence... sweet justice!! ___________________________________________________________ Electra Woman and Dyna Girl!

i think its a little much, the judge was obviously not a fan... No, it's the LAW. She broke several laws and has been sentenced to the appropriate sentence as befitting her crime.

wow! For the people who actually feel sorry for this skanky ho and say 'at least she didn't kill someone' :rotfl: y'all are just as whacked as she is!!! Either that, or you haven't had a friend or family member killed or seriously injured by a stupid drunk driver!
