Sunday marked the 15th anniversary of the tragic attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and Pete Davidson remembered his firefighter father who lost his life that day. The Saturday Night Live [1] comedian paid tribute to his dad with a series of heartfelt throwback photos and captioned one of them [2], "Can't believe tomorrow is going to be 15 years. Missing the legend !!! Thank u all for ur kind words and support as always #werememberthem." He also included another snap of his dad's old work boots, writing, "One of my dads homies gave me his old dirty ass boots from work and a sick photo of him lookin like a young legend !!! Apparently my dad wore sketchers how f*ckin embarrassing!!"

Pete was only 7 years old [3] when his father's unit went to the Marriott World Trade Center Hotel, which was destroyed when the Twin Towers collapsed [4].
