Back of Gavin Brings Home the Bacon (and Zuma!) Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale dressed up as bacon and eggs this weekend for a Halloween party in Hollywood on Saturday night. Gavin used his costume to cover up baby Zuma and Kingston had so much fun he couldn't even stay awake in what looks like his elephant suit, which he wore for the second week in a row. Gavin said the big brother is getting used to sharing his mom with Zuma and that the new family is doing great. Kingston left his costumes at home for Sunday brunch, but maybe we'll get a peek at him showing his brother the ropes for Zuma's first Halloween. Gavin you can see is way more hands on and they always have a nanny. I bet Gwen can't lift cuz she probably had her tummy tuck last week HeidiMD 8 years I think their costumes are hilarious! Soapboxer 8 years Zuma is Soup in Italian. californiagirlx7 8 years I thought they were hands-on parents too, but I seriously don't see the need for a nanny unless your kids are difficult to handle or if you have more than 2 kids (because one parent should be able to concentrate on one child I would think, especially when one is just a little baby). I never saw the nanny around until Gwen was pregnant with Zuma. I don't know, I still love them but this just rubs me the wrong way. Even though Angelina and Brad have nannies, you RARELY see them in public and don't see them taking care of the kids while Angelina and Brad are walking right next to them. I just thought nannies were there to take care of kids while you're busy, not to bring along on playdates and such  I'm not trying to start a controversy (I'm not saying you are either Mykie, but I have a feeling someone will react badly to my comments). I think nannies are great, I considered becoming one but I can't since I'm a full time college student. However, I do take care of a 1 year old boy weekly while his mother works from home so she can concentrate on her work, and then I can take care of him sometimes while his parents go on dates. I don't tag along with their family on trips, but then again I'm not a celeb. Ok sorry for all of my rambling! Mykie, do you mean security like an extra pair of hands to watch Kingston so he doesn't run off with all the paps around? For some reason, when you said "security," I pictured her being like a bodyguard LOL. I was thinking that she was kinda short and diminutive for that job :) Mykie7 8 years California, I really think in this case the Nanny is there as extra protection. With everyone following them, I get the need for it. I don't LIKE it, but I guess I can understand it. Gwen comes across as a really hands on mom, but then I really know nothing about her other than what I see here. I'm not a no-doubt or a Gwen Stefani fan. It's not my genre. italianblonde 8 years Cute simple idea for costumes... LuvLeoDiCaprio 8 years Her costume is sooo not cute... Pelloplasma 8 years "Gavin said the big brother is getting used to sharing his mom with Zuma" you mean "Gavin said the big brother is getting used to sharing his nanny with Zuma"..... lemuse20 8 years Never really been a Gwen fan (always kinda annoyed me), but she looks good in the black tank and jeans. I particularly love the hair! She looks beautiful californiagirlx7 8 years Aw what cute costumes! I love this little family (minus the ever-present nanny), I hope we get to see Zuma soon. P.S. I don't have a problem with nannies in general, I just think it's ridiculous to bring her along on day outings especially if you only have two kids (and both parents are present). spicyaroma 8 years Awww, cute family :) Gwen's so beautiful ilanac13 8 years that's hysterical that they were bacon and eggs. it shows that they are really able to get into the spirit of things with their kids - and i can't wait to see more of zuma now that he's getting older.
