Jennifer Lopez Tries Not to Cause Too Much Trouble

Jennifer Lopez brought a friend along Thursday when she headed out to run errands in LA. She's in California after spending the beginning of January in Miami, where she and Marc took in the final Dolphins game of the year and she fit in some shopping. Jennifer is currently in "hyper J Lo" mode promoting both her new album and The Back-Up Plan, though her recent interview with Elle ruffled a few feathers. She said she personally would never choose to use IVF as her character in the film does, and that apparently irritated some fertility advocates.

so she said God doesn´t want me to have children because I can´t have them without IFV. I think she is the one that doesn´t deserve what she´s got.

Of course she has every right to voice her personal choice. Why shouldn't she? The point was why did she have to also voice her personal (negative) opinion on someone else's choice? And to each their own? Yeah, right. LOL. So why doesn't she leave the people seeking fertility assistance alone? If it were someone else I might be inclined to say she's just too dumb to know any better but that wouldn't be giving her enough credit. Some celebrities like to cater to controversy and think any attention they can bring to themselves is a good thing, and Jennifer Lopez is (and has always been) one of them. I think she definitely has some agenda at work at all times. And I highly doubt any negative backlash would ever shut her up, so those rushing to her defense can fear not. LOL.

It is her right to voice her personal choice on the matter, and more likely than not, she was ASKED about it, not just spewing out irrelevant information. I like her and hope she continues to do well in both her professional and personal life.

She made her own choices...which is what you have to do cuz at the end of the day, you have to live with your decisions!! OMG leave the poor girl alone :-( She didn't say people who use fertility treatments are freaks or bad...yeesh!

Didn't she refer to it as messing with nature or God's plan or some such thing? I'm pretty sure that's the part people took issue with. Make your own personal choices in life--but don't sit in judgment of others for doing so. The comment was especially insensitive and unnecessary given that it's directed to people out there who desperately want to have children and cannot, so it also had a hint of unpleasant-sounding superiority in it. She was able to conceive naturally. Good for her. Maybe she should just count her blessings and leave it at that. Coming right after her lamenting the academy overlooking her Oscar-worthy performance, I think JLo would do well to think a little more before she speaks.

She looks good here. It's nice to see her in a photo without that pout on her face!
