Back of Jessica Simpson Isn't Bogged Down by Her Latest Slipup Jessica Simpson paid another visit to her trainer in LA yesterday, sneaking back into her car but there was no hiding her smile. She's seemed to be in good spirits since the stories that she was devastated by her breakup from Tony Romo. Yesterday Jessica found herself in a little bit of hot water when she used what some consider an insensitive phrase to explain why she's not taking back the boat she gave Tony. Jessica's ability to turn a phrase is part of what endeared her to us back in her Newlywed days — though Nick's new lady friend helps dash hopes that we'll be seeing a reunion between him and Jess. That's just something we used to say when we were kids, it's not meant to offend. FaerieBlu 8 years Vocabulary is instilled in us from childhood, from reading novels and our culture. I think someone should write a manual and make it a law on words you should never say. How else will people know what is wrong unless it's said publicly and the media makes a big deal out of it. This pc stuff has really gotten out of hand. romes 8 years Hey, she never finished high school. I don't think she meant anything but she really doesn't look too happy in the second photo. Wearing a sweatshirt in 90 degree plus weather is not too bright either. Obviously, she's hiding her still overweight body. FrankiLee 8 years Obviously she didn't mean any harm when she said "indian giver." Hopefully people will cut her some slack. All of that aside, I think she needs to stay single and become a strong person on her OWN. She needs to realize she doesn't need a man in her life to be happy. Hopefully she can find her own inner strength, without jumping into another relationship. jaan_black 8 years ok, didn't watch the video but if she said "Indian Giver" we must remember she's not the most articulate or bright person...that said, I get it and we all know what she meant...Tony H*mo is such a loser ilanac13 8 years i've gotten in trouble on here for using the same phrase so i can understand that one . anyway, it's nice to see that she's doing ok and that she's moving on. it's never fun to have a break up in the public eye - and i hope that things just keep getting better for her.
