Back of Jude Is Happy to See Fans as We Get to Know His Baby Mama Jude Law looked like he was in good spirits leaving the Wyndham Theatre in London last night after another performance of Hamlet. He signed autographs for fans, while back in the States we learned more details about the woman pregnant with his fourth child. Apparently the baby is the result of a weeklong fling with a model about seven months ago — and there's even a photo of her, Samantha Burke. Jude has made it clear that he's ready to support the child and with the supposed due date in early October, the baby will be here soon. Both she and Jude are taking responsibility for their actions and Sam's only concern is the health and well-being of baby Sophia. Please don't make assumptions and accusations about someone you don't even know! nguidjol 8 years I am with you Iris1000. She did have a one stand with him because he is Jude Law. She wouldn't had have a one night stand with a regular Joe without protection. She knew exactly what she was doing. Next stop People magazine. And Jude seriously, you should know better. Iris1000 8 years Make that: scenarios I have seen with some single parents. Iris1000 8 years I agree with you Miera. Even if he did just write the check, he would still be OK. From what I have seen with some of my friends and their ex's going to Family Court to stay in their children's lives, I hate to say it, but if this situation is like the one's I have seen, he is almost better off just paying the money until the child gets old enough to establish a relationship on her own. Some of these mother's really use the kids to torture the fathers. The father finally gives up and fall out of the kids lives more than they would have. Too much tension, stress, hate, and drama. From what I have read, her family has taken over and demanding Jude take care of the woman and the baby really trying to make him look bad. They were not married, I don't know why he would agree to support her and I think situations like this are almost criminal on the mother's part. Doesn't sound good right now. The mother wants him, not really initially after the baby. Since she can't have him, the next best thing is to get him to know and love the child. Once he gets involved with the child, the mother starts the control-drama-torture game I have seen. This is a dirty game at this point. Unfortunately, if I was him, I would pay the money for now and just stick with my kids in London. That is unless he wants something to do with mother. People can say what they want about Jude, but I think he can only spread himself so thin between his career, kids and all those one night stands. I don't think he is at a point in his life where he wants to buckle down with a brand new baby and woman who has made him a father against his will. (I know it takes two). This is based on some of the scanarios I have seen with single parents. Iris1000 8 years Am I the only one gets upset with the woman in a siutation like this? Did she sleep with him on the first night they went out? Why did she do that? Now he doesn't want to have anything to do with her, I don't blame him, jumping in the sack with a complete stranger so soon. A couple of nights sex is hardly a reason to want to share a baby with some one. It seems from other articles, her family is really trying to put the squeeze to Jude. I hope he just sticks with the kid. Forget her. I know it takes two, but she didn't have to stay in this pregnancy. Now he's stuck with her for 18 years through the kid and I wouldn't be surprised at a lot of court problems. Unfortunately Jude, you really %$#@&! up this time. JennaV 8 years Nice pit stains GlowingMoon 8 years I agree -- this does sound irresponsible (on both their parts). This baby was conceived during a fling, not a relationship. I find it hard to believe they were diligent with birth control. And yes, I'm speaking from my experience. vodkadietcoke 8 years what a dumbass! how could he NOT put a sock on the pickle at his age?? man, his hair has really receded. Meira 8 years It's rather sad that you label him a bad dad when the child is not even born yet. What is your idea of a "good daddy"? You know, men aren't automatically bad dads just because they have a child outside of a marriage. lickety-split 8 years his walked in on him screwing their nanny. guess you have a different idea of "good daddy". sad. solitaire 8 years Jude is a douche. He should learn to use a condom. redchick152 8 years he has always seemed to be a good father to his other children (aside from banging their nanny), so i would assume he will be a good father to this one too. c4rolin3 8 years agree with you meira x i have nothing but respect for JL in this situation. so what if it was a one night stand rather than a relationship, they could have used protection too, but it's never 100% affective. the point is that he's issued a statement and is in talks with the mother. he's said he's going to be there as a father, and if we use how he treats his children with sadie frost now- this is both monetary and in time. in one of the statements he's issued, he said he plans to visit america every month. this is more than some fathers do when they only live down the road. if only half the country could have such a responsive and active father in their life- they should be so lucky. Meira 8 years Licketysplit, how do you know he is only "writing a check"?! Did you get a divine message telling you what Jude Law's plans are? Considering the fact that he's a very devouted father who puts his children first I'm sure he will try to be the best dad to his baby. He's handling the whole thing very well, does his job at the same time and makes time for the fans. So stop blaming him for not being perfect. lickety-split 8 years week long? lol, i doubt it. sounds like a new years eve bang. and btw, writing a check is not meeting your parental obligations. he's permanently in the "douche" category now. ilanac13 8 years that'll teach you to use protection even on a week long fling. anyway, it's nice that he's stepping up and he's being 'cool' about things with her and i wish them all the best. runningesq 8 years Methinks someone needs a lesson on birth control and condom use LaurenG22 8 years ummm ok... I used to think he was so hot... He's kind of a womanizer... at least he is supporting her though.
