Back of Madonna "Can't Stop Crying" Over the News of MJ Madonna was spotted leaving dinner in London on Wednesday night while yesterday the world lost an icon and someone close to her heart. As we looked back on Michael Jackson's extraordinary life, Madonna was a prominent player, and she released her sad statement yesterday. She said, "I can't stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless." Madonna's manager Guy Oseary also twittered about her former desires to join Michael Jackson on stage in London next month, though sadly those dates will only live in their fans' imaginations. Michael was on tv and recording back in the late 60s and was a huge international superstar before anyone heard of Madonna. She first got airplay around 1985, which was a couple of years after Thriller. Her talent is nowhere near what his was. She really got most famous for trying to push the envelope all the time. But of course Madonna thinks everyone is waiting to hear her views on anything, so she has to inject her opinion. naziazholesusuck 8 years agree tiabia and azh. if micheal was the king, she is the queen. both came up at the same time. they both shared the same kind of fame. madonna made a statement because shes a famous star and micheal was a peer. i would expect to hear something from her. not for attention. 7R 8 years She looks sad. Ginger 8 years Why do celebs feel the need to release a press statement like this about how they are grieving the loss? Madonna is such a media ho, it's like she's trying to make herself relevant to the Michael Jackson story. Have they even been in the same room together in the last 10-15 years? If she's so broken up, then I could see contacting the family, but I don't see the point in telling the whole world. To me it sounds more about Madonna, but that isn't exactly a surprise, since she's her own favorite topic. azh 8 years Madonna please stay with us more time ok.. dont go too.. :( Michael`s in his happy place now... :) away from all the media drama.. kty 8 years i agree with tiabia tiabia 8 years I agree cnyc1a!!! I think the adoration, love and respect was truly mutual!!! cnyc1a 8 years Madonna loves Michael Jackson. Has anyone seen the pictures of her from the 80's with him. I mean she sang Billie Jean during her Virgin Tour. In so many ways they were both alike. Both born on the same in the same month and year. Both are Icons and changed Pop Music. I truly believe her when she says she's upset. jaan_black 8 years so sad Briandiesel 8 years Well said Madonna Ana-V452519 8 years Me too! Life isn't always fair :( PopDiva24 8 years Every word uttered by Madonna is milked to some extent. Beautiful-Price 8 years Blogs and just the media in general are really milking this quote from Madonna. PopDiva24 8 years Especially from Madonna, who doesn't really show much emotion these days... PopDiva24 8 years I can't either, Madge! :( ilanac13 8 years we keep hearing about all these stars that had plans to join him during his tour - and that speaks miles about the guy. it's nice to see these expressions from peers.
