Photos of Reese Witherspoon on Cover of November Vogue

Reese Witherspoon Poses in Paris With Vogue

Reese Witherspoon's beautiful blue eyes pop on the November cover of Vogue, and inside she looks stunning pictured around Paris. We saw Reese posing for this shoot back in July and now we get to see the finished product. In the article, Reese tells the story of finding her Oscar gown, becoming the quintessential Nina Ricci woman, and even a little bit about her family and Jake. Here are highlights:

  • On Jake: "He's very supportive. Suffice it to say, I'm very happy in life, and I'm very lucky to have a lot of really supportive people around me who care very much for me, and, you know, that's all you can hope for in life. I am very blessed in that way."
  • On traveling with her children: "I'm very lucky I get to bring my children to great places and they get to see the world with me, and we get to grow and learn and experience things together."
  • On life: "Every once in a while you're hit with moments when you think, really? This is my life. How lucky am I?"

To see more photos from the shoot and read what she has to say about why she was drawn to Four Christmases and empowering women, just

.

  • On making Four Christmases: "There are so many dynamics that people deal with all the time, and you don't really see it in movies very much. You don't see the blended-family Christmas very much. And it really is a complication in a lot of people's lives now. How do you see your mother and your father and not hurt anyone's feelings? You know, I didn't grow up like that. I mean, my parents are still married, and my grandparents stayed married, but it's a situation my own children will have to deal with, so it was of interest to me."
  • On playing a superhero in Monsters vs. Aliens: "I have a history, a long history of being stereotyped as a five-foot-two woman, which is very limiting. I've worked so hard to create characters that have dignity, and I think everybody knows that I have a very pro-woman message in my work — and in my life."

After all these years in movies, being one of the most powerful women in Hollywood, Reese still seems so humble and kind. It's no wonder why Jake seems so smitten. Check out more from Reese when the issue hits newsstands.

I love that coat but the beret could have been positioned on her head in a more flattering way.

Well, I somehow always like her. She maybe not pretty, but with the right makeup and style, she can look great. I'm so buying this cover.

She looks STUNNING.

Sorry guys, but I am not a fan of Reese. I have never thought she was pretty and I never liked her movies. I truly do not know why HOllywood keeps giving her movie roles. She is very plain and boring, and not to mention a fake and perpetual PR w***e. I can think of many other actresses in Hollywood that fair better than her. And yes CHarliez Theron meets my approval. She has far more class than Reese any day. They are not even in the same category.

I like Reese's comedy movies but I find that she is one of those stars that the less I hear about her outside the movies the better. She does seem stuck up and come across as a know-it-all in most of her interviews so I just avoid them.

well i like that she realizes what her niche is in movies - but that she's trying to over come it some how. it's also nice to hear how she talks about her family and relationship but we couldn't expect anything otherwise from her since that's the kind of person that we've come to see in reese.

I wish Vogue put models on the cover. I also wish it was less of a society magazine and more of a fashion magazine. I also wish celebrities they did put on the covers were interesting celebrities and great cover shots. Every month it's like another bland Vogue cover. Why can't American Vogue be exciting for one month? Just one amazing cover please.

i wasn't trying to single you out ames. in fact, i wasn't talking about you at all. you're cool in my book and always above the board. i was just making a point, not trying to tell people how to behave or defending helga. :)

''Who did Reese beat out when she won her Oscar for Walk the Line? That might be the culprit.'' The other big contender was Felicity Hoffman for Transamerica. I hope it not her!

I think we all have this as a hobby, brian and ames I was only pointing out the difference from one thread to another, that's it, but enjoy, it would be crazy if it were abbie I guees we can ask on the next reese post

Bingo! It's Abbie Cornish :rotfl: Ditto what Brian said, like or hate who you want, i have no problem with anyone who has something constructive to say saying it, but seventy something "she's just a fake PR wh0re" comments in a row is funny! And worth mentioning. And a bit scary. And, indeed, a very strange hobby! :?

Anyhoo, someone find me a knock-off of the red dress and somewhere to wear it, please???

For the record, I don't think anyone really "went after" Helga, but we all noticed her comments and mentioned them. There IS the possibility that Helga went to high school with Reese, which is where the beginning of the endless sea of hatred seems to have begun, but didn't we all say stupid things when we were teenagers thinking it might have been funny and isn't there the possibility that it's time to let go of high school grudges? I can't remember how old Reese is, but it's safe to say it's probably been 12 years since she graduated, no?

Brian, I noticed it yesterday too. i don't get it either. But I kind of agree with Freedom, that maybe this IS someone that knows her personally, and may have only met her AFTER Ryan or something like that. Heck, maybe it's Abby Cornish! LOLOL I'm kidding BTW I really have no problem with people disliking someone, but it always seems to be 4 or 5 hateful comments in a row and it does get kind of annoying. However, if annoying were a crime most of my co-workers (And me too I'm certain) would have been arrested at some point. LOL
