Kim Kardashian scored the March cover of Harper's Bazaar, which arrives on newsstands on Feb. 22. She channeled her idol, Elizabeth Taylor, for the accompanying photo shoot from Terry Richardson, and Kim actually had the chance to interview the legend for the magazine. Kim, of course, also weighed in on her own life and work. She spoke about her experiences in NYC shooting Kourtney and Kim Take New York and working on music with pal Kanye West. Kim didn't, however, touch on her budding relationship with Kris Humphries. She said:
- On her own ambitions: "I would absolutely characterize myself as ambitious . . . I put myself on a budget. My parents raised us saying that at 18, we'd be cut off."
- On gaining weight while shooting in NYC: "I worked out once. I gained like 10 pounds. All the papers were like, Kim’s pregnant! I ate the nuts on the street corner, the hot dogs, the street meat. It was not a joke."
- On the NYPD weighing in on her and Kourtney shooting: "The city asked us not to tweet when we were there because the population growing around our store was becoming a fire hazard."
- On her upcoming collaboration with Kanye "I can carry a tune, yeah. I have a cute little voice. I talked to people in the business, and they said, 'This is what we do for fun. You go to the movies, you go shopping, why don’t you try what we do?'"
