President Barack Obama on The Tonight Show 2013

President Obama Talks Politics and His Personal Life on The Tonight Show

Last night, President Obama sat down with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show to talk about everything from his relationship with Michelle to a recent lunch with Hillary Clinton to the international embassy closings. After joking around with the president about his birthday celebrations and his gray hair, Leno asked about the decision to close 19 embassies across North Africa and the Middle East. "It's significant enough that we're taking every precaution," Obama said, adding, "It's a reminder that for all the progress we've made — getting bin Laden, putting Al Qaeda between Afghanistan and Pakistan back on its heels — that this radical, violent extremism is still out there." Watch the videos above and below for highlights from President Obama's interview.
