Prince Harry Wraps Up His Brazilian Tour With a Kiss
Prince Harry drove a horse-drawn carriage up to the field outside Sao Paulo where his Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup was held yesterday. It was the final event on Harry's busy South American tour, and he helped lead his team to a 6-3 win. When presented with the champion's cup, along with polo star Nacho Figueras, Harry got a kiss from model Fernanda Motto. The match was held to benefit Harry's Sentebale charity, which was founded to help impoverished young people in Lesotho.
Harry reflected on his tour after the match. He was touched by the reception across the countries visited in the last ten days. He said, "I'm absolutely exhausted but the warmth of the reception that we've received from every single country that we've been to, including Brazil, has been utterly amazing. I personally had no idea how much influence the Queen has on all these countries. And to me that's been very humbling, and I was actually quite choked up at times seeing the way that they've celebrated her 60 years. . . . She's thousands of miles away to some of these countries and yet they celebrated her in the way they did, and made me feel as one of them, so I couldn't thank them more."
Harry also spoke about Kate Middleton, his brother Prince William's wife and referred to her as "my sister." He gave a hint as to their plans for the upcoming Summer Olympics in London. Harry said, "The three of us, my brother and my sister, will be as involved as we can be. I still love my sport, maybe not quite so much in this heat."
