On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge returned to Dundee, Scotland, after their last visit to the city in 2015. Their visit began with the official opening of the new V&A Dundee museum, which no doubt has special meaning to William, as the V&A was founded by his ancestors Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Dundee is also only a short hop from the University of St. Andrews, where the couple first met.
On their visit, Kate and William took a rather windy-looking tour of the museum, before meeting with members of the public on the waterfront. Their second visit of the day will involve a meeting with workers from Dundee's Michelin factory, which is set to cease tire production in 2020. William and Kate will speak with an action group that is working to repurpose the site and create new employment opportunities.
