Jan 20 2019 - 4:50pm

Prince Philip was hospitalized following a scary car accident [1] on Thursday. Fortunately, the 97-year-old royal is OK, but don't you dare ask Princess Anne how he's doing. While arriving at an event on Friday, Philip and Queen Elizabeth II's only daughter [2] was asked about the Duke of Edinburgh's condition that morning, to which she savagely replied, "I've no idea. You know where I am? Same place as you." Ouch!

After wrapping up her engagement, another reporter asked Anne [3] if she had received an update on her father, and this time, Anne seemed to have a better attitude about it. "Not since I've been in there," she replied.

A rather brave reporter decided to have a second fo at asking Princess Anne how Prince Philip is.

The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a car collision around 3 p.m. on Thursday near Sandringham Estate with a Kia driven by a 28-year-old woman with a 9-month-old baby and a 45-year-old passenger. Philip's Land Rover was overturned, and the 45-year-old passenger suffered a broken wrist, but luckily, the baby was uninjured. "Contact has been made privately with those traveling in the other car and well wishes exchanged," a palace spokeswoman told People. Philip visited the doctor on Friday for a precautionary checkup and has been given the all-clear.
