Rihanna Testifying in Chris Brown Case Today

Are You Still Interested in Chris Brown and Rihanna's Case?

Rihanna is set to take the stand in court this afternoon to testify against Chris Brown in a preliminary hearing. It's been over three months since Chris was charged with assaulting Rihanna, and both stars have attempted to get back to their regular lives. Of course, the very serious charges still have to be addressed in court, but tell us — are you still interested in Chris and Rihanna's case?

I don't really think that it's something to be "tired of." This is a huge issue. While Rihanna deserves privacy reguarding this horrific incident, this has at the very least openned up this terrible topic for discussion. Domestic violence is all to common these days. Celebrities are not immune. People need to know that it is beyond unacceptable. It bothers me that in a case like this, where it is a first offense, the attacker does not get jail time.

No. I don't care. Actually, I only care enough to comment and say I hardly care.

I think it's important the cases of domestic violence be reported; young people look up to celebrities, and it is an important message to send that domestic violence is not to be tolerated!

Actually, his sentence is very typical for first time DV offenders -- at least what I've seen as a prosecutor who handles DVs. People tend to think that pleas = easy way out, but they really aren't. A conviction for Chris means that he now has a record and that he's being monitered by the court. As a prosecutor, I'm actually pleased at how this turned out.

The incident was disturbing and the case is not the public's business. Domestic violence IS the public's business. This is a case brought by the State, not by Rhianna. I cannot beleive the whole "what happens in a relationship is between those people/ what happens in the house should stay there" way of thinking still exists. Assault is assault is assault, whether it's by a stranger or a spouse.

as long as she stands up for herself, I don't need to know the play by play of this nonsense..."Gargamel" Brown is forever on my shyt list regardless

not interested because she doesnt deserve it. She actually is in contact with him again anyways; her lame ass deserves whatever she gets. I dont pity anybody who doesnt even try to help themselves. Therefore I dont care about the outcome

Yes he should have to pay for what he's done! Just because he is famous he will probably just have to pay fines and do some community service. Sad but true!

Since it's already so public, the conclusion should be as well, because these two have been public role models for young people and it's important for young women to see that you shouldn't ignore domestic violence and for young men to see that there can be penalties.

no - i think that it should just get handled and the public should be taken out of it. it's embarrassing enough and hard enough for them that to have this extra layer is just insane. my asst was upset this AM when she realized that she couldn't Tivo the hearing and that just disgusted me.

Who are we to judge? we were not there, don't know what happened and cant prove a damn thing! Im so sick of people running that boy in the ground. When she attempted to rekindle her relationship with him we should have minded our damn business then. Leave him the hell alone!

no, because its taking so long to punish this guy... he probably will pay a lot of money and move on... same thing as always... (remember OJ`s case) ... no justice for women as always..

I still think this is a topic, that never should be forgotten. She now represents the millions of women that have been in a violent relationship, and survived. And I hope, that she has enough strenght to get over through this. And that justice will prevail.

No. But not for that reason. It's just so predictable. She's going to say little to nothing. And he'll get off easy.

I am so sick of hearing about this!

Not at all, however, I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to the story...
