Royal Wedding Watch 2018: All the Couples Who Are Headed (or Made It) Down the Aisle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding [1] was straight out of a fairy tale, but they aren't the only royal couple who tied the knot this year. In fact, Prince Christian of Hanover wed Alessandra de Osma [2] in Lima, Peru in March, and Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie said "I do [3]" in the Fall. Over in Monaco, Grace Kelly's grandson Louis Ducruet got engaged [4] to his college sweetheart in February, and the two are set to wed in 2019. Prince Christian and Alessandra de Osma

Christian and Alessandra were the first royal couple [6] to tie the knot this year. The pair wed in a religious ceremony in March at St. Peter's Church in Peru, though this was technically their second wedding since they originally got married in a civil ceremony in London in November 2016.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The couple, who officially announced their engagement [7] back in November 2017, made the trek down the aisle [8] at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19. Not only were the nuptials a star-studded affair [9], but the wedding was watched by millions of people [10] around the world.

Lord Ivar Mountbatten and James Coyle

The British royal family had their first same sex marriage [11] when Lord Ivar, who's Queen Elizabeth II's cousin, tied the knot with airline cabin services director James Coyle in September. The two met back in 2014 at a resort in Switzerland, and four years later, they made things official. Ivar later gushed about their big day on Instagram [12], writing, "Well we did it finally! It was an amazing day despite the miserable British weather . . . the biggest thank you to James for being just perfect."

Princess Lindy Klim and Adam Ellis

Lindy, whose late father was a Balinese prince, tied the knot with the British property developer [13] in Italy in August. They wed in front of their nearest and dearest including Lindy's three kids, Stella, Rocco, and Frankie, and their daughter, Goldie.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank

The royal got engaged to longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank [14] in January, and the two exchanged "I dos [15]" at the same venue where Harry and Meghan got married in October. Now moving on to the royals of Monaco! In February, Princess Stéphanie, whose parents are the late Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly [18], announced that her son popped the question to his college girlfriend [19]. The couple are set to tie the knot in 2019 and the wedding will mark the first for any of Stéphanie's children. She is also mother to 24-year-old daughter Pauline and 20-year-old daughter Camille.
