The Cannes Film Festival [1] officially kicked off on Tuesday, and all eyes were likely on Selena Gomez [2] as she made her first-ever appearance. Clad in a sexy all-white ensemble [3], the 26-year-old singer was on hand to promote her new star-studded film, The Dead Don't Die [4]. Selena was joined by her costars, including Adam Driver, Bill Murray [5], Tilda Swinton, Luka Sabbat, and Chloë Sevigny [6]. Following the event, Selena switched up her look for a white strapless dress and attended the festival's gala dinner. The next day, she rocked a cropped navy top with matching pants as she attended a photocall and press conference for the film. She also posted a series of selfies on Instagram [7], writing, "hi Cannes...you're very pretty."
The Dead Don't Die was directed by Jim Jarmusch and hits theaters on June 14. It centers around a town called Centerville that suddenly finds itself overrun with zombies. Given that the festival is 11 days long [8], hopefully this means we'll be seeing more of Selena in the days to come.
