Shane Bitney Crone Bridegroom Movie Interview

Video: Meet the Man Behind the Documentary Bridegroom

On May 7, 2011, Shane Bitney Crone lost the love of his life when his partner of over six years, Tom Bridegroom, accidentally fell off a four-story building. On the one-year anniversary of Tom's passing, Shane posted a video on YouTube sharing the heart-wrenching story of the dramatic events that followed after Tom's death. It instantly went viral and continues to rack up millions and millions of views. Now, Shane has expanded that 10-minute video into a full-length documentary that shares his love story with Tom and calls for equal rights for the LGBT community. Bill Clinton loved the movie so much he asked Shane if he could present the film at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film is appropriately called Bridegroom, and Shane came by our LA studio to share his story.
