Was It Smart For Justin to Disassociate From Southern Hospitality?

After a nice week following his well-received SNL episode, Justin Timberlake found himself in a bit of a scandal yesterday. Southern Hospitality, the restaurant he once associated himself with, was hit with a sexual harassment suit from one of the Manhattan restaurant's former managers. Back in February Justin said he doesn't actually own any part of the eatery, but he's still named as one of the defendants in the case. Seems like JT might have known that there was a storm brewing so tell us — was it smart to disassociate from Southern Hospitality?

well he told everyone AGES ago that he wasn't really a part of it which we all thought was a crock - but i guess that in hindsight it was probably a really smart move. i don't know - i guess we'll just see how this mess plays out.

100% right to isis and aurora!! His first solo cd was based on the fact that the arse brought Britney into the equation. I've been sick of him since then...

typical, he really is a punk. He was still talking about having sex with Britney on SNL last weekend. Since the Janet wardrobe malfunction, cant stand him.

No. It was his restaurant. He is the one who promoted it on GMA as his. The website even said it was his restaurant. They used his families recipes for the menu. And every time he was in NYC he was photographed there. Why would he promote something for all that time if he didn't have a stake in it? It sounds like he pulled out at the first signs of trouble to save his own butt. If it wasn't his restaurant he should have said it from the beginning. This makes him look like an arse.

Yea, he seems like such a wuss...he cries and runs away whenever anything doesn't turn out like he wants or expects (Britney, Janet Jackson...oh, remember the episode of Punk'd?) He is a big baby and I agree with the comment above stating that it all sounds shady.

Typical Justin. I can't stand the guy. He's not nice.

Sounds pretty shady to me. Just a few years ago he was heavily involved, now all of a sudden he's not?

that place was a mess from day one. i work for a chef they called in all desperate for him to make things work. needless to say, they didn't do any of the things he suggested. celebrity chefs are bad enough, but when celebrities get involved, it's redonk. he's kinda shady anyway.

Justin spun a web he got stuck in. You can not say that you have no stake in a restaurant where your grandmother's pie recipes are served. He was in the kitchen with GMA's Robin making the damn pies. And then it was a very Southern Hospitality restaurant setting on the Diet Pepsi commercial staring him... come on!?! Pay up boy. There are more important things to do. Life Goes On.
