And in Sochi, the Winter Olympics feel more like the Spring Olympics. This week, temperatures rose to 65°F, turning snow into a mushy, mashed-potato-like substance. With some athletes blaming the conditions for poor showings, officials are readying snow they've stored up over the past year in case temperatures don't drop.
