31 Reasons Taylor Swift Is Having a Ridiculously Awesome Year

On Jan. 11, Taylor Swift partied with her friends — including Haim, Jaime King, and Lorde — at the Weinstein Company's Golden Globes bash.

Taylor showed off her bikini body (and that belly button) during a trip to Hawaii with Haim's Este, Danielle, and Alana in late January.

Madonna talked about her love for Taylor Swift in late January, saying in an interview, "I like Taylor Swift. I think she writes some really catchy pop songs. Can't get them out of my head." Taylor took to Tumblr to share her understandable reaction: "Thanks now I'm dead."

Although the picture was actually taken during Taylor's 25th birthday party in December, the pop star posted the perfect picture to wish Justin Timberlake a happy 34th birthday on Jan. 31 — a photo of herself, JT, Beyoncé, and Jay Z. (And based on that time Ellen DeGeneres surprised Taylor with JT in 2008, it's safe to say that her birthday wish for Justin qualifies as one seriously great moment for her.)

Taylor was all smiles when she attended Clive Davis's pre-Grammys party on Feb. 7.

On Feb. 8, Taylor took her longtime best friend Abigail to the Grammys with her.

Also at the Grammys was Kanye West, and after years of awkwardness after that "I'mma let you finish" moment, Taylor and Kanye seemed to patch things up. Later that week, they even went to dinner together, and in an interview, Kanye suggested that the pair would be going into the studio together to collaborate. What a difference six years makes!

She released the music video for "Style" on Feb. 13, prompting a whole lot of crushes on sexy star Dominic Sherwood, who appears in the video.

Taylor and Karlie Kloss played a game for Vogue called "Who's the Best Best Friend?" — oh, and they also landed a Vogue cover together. No big deal.

Showing off her sense of humor — and her acting chops — Taylor popped up at SNL's 40th anniversary special, making a cameo in "The Californians" skit.

The pop star gave a nod to her chair-dancing skills at award shows when she appeared on The Tonight Show in mid-February, teaming up with Jimmy Fallon to show off some Jumbotron dancing.

On Feb. 24, Taylor stepped out for the Elle Style Awards in London, linking up with pals Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne at the chic event.

Taylor Swift (and a lime) hit the stage for the Brit Awards on Feb. 25, and she also received quite the honor, winning the award for best international solo female artist.

Lady Gaga tweeted her love for Taylor Swift on March 2 after Taylor said, "Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!? #goals." Lady Gaga responded by saying, "Wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!"

Taylor linked up with some of her famous friends for a chic tea party to celebrate International Women's Day. In the caption, Taylor wrote, "We are at our best when we cheer each other on and build each other up."

Taylor and Madonna teamed up to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 29, hitting the stage to play "Ghosttown." She also shared a hilarious moment with Justin Timberlake, who jokingly freaked out when Taylor snagged an award.

In April, Taylor gave her longtime BFF Abigail the birthday surprise of her dreams when Chris Carrabba, the lead singer of Dashboard Confessional, made an appearance at her 25th birthday party. In cute videos from the bash, the pals were seen belting out "Hands Down" alongside Chris as the whole party sang along.

Taylor was honored at the Academy of Country Music Awards with a touching tribute by her mom, Andrea, who presented her with the milestone award. The moment was all the more moving because, earlier this year, Taylor announced in a heartfelt Tumblr note that her mom was diagnosed with cancer.

Taylor and Calvin Harris took their relationship — then only rumored — to a new level when they hosted a BBQ for friends at her house in LA, with people like Lorde, Ellie Goulding, and the Haim sisters making the guest list.

It's no secret that May's Billboard Music Awards were all about Taylor! Not only did she and Calvin Harris attend their first official event together, hugging and kissing in the crowd, but she also took home a whopping eight awards throughout the night.
