You know when you're out with friends and have had a few drinks and you just start hugging everyone? That's pretty much what seemed to be happening at Universal Music's Brit Awards afterparty on Wednesday. Taylor Swift [1], who opened the show with a performance of "Blank Space" [2] and took home the award for international female solo artist, partied it up in a black minidress with her pals Ellie Goulding and Karlie Kloss and couldn't resist hanging all over them during the soiree. She also grabbed on to TV and radio presenter Nick Grimshaw, who held down the DJ booth with the help of The 1979's Matt Healy and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley; to her credit, Rosie seemed equally enamored with Nick, Karlie, and Cara Delevingne, who didn't really look to be in the hugging mood. First, Taylor Swift hugged Ellie Goulding from behind.
Ellie was like, "OK, I think that's tight enough."
Meanwhile, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley scared the crap out of Cara Delevingne with her from-behind hug.
Cara adjusted to it right in time for a decent photo.
Then, Rosie found another model to throw her arms around — Karlie Kloss.
And because Karlie was taken, her BFF Taylor moved on to Nick Grimshaw.
Taylor held on to Nick just long enough to make us forget she was rumored to be dating Matt Healy, who's on the far right.
Remember those reports [4]?
Taylor continued to hug Nick as Ellie took over DJ duties and Karlie watched the whole scene from across the room.
Before long, Matt was like, "My turn!" and hugged Nick even harder than Taylor did.
Guess who else wanted a piece of Nick Grimshaw? Yep, here comes Rosie, back for some love.
Eventually, she realized the man she'd most like to drape herself over was her boyfriend, Jason Statham.
After you've hugged everyone at the party, you just want to be with the one you love, you know?
