Ted Danson Learning How to Floss Dance Is the Quality Content We All Deserve

Don't let Ted Danson fool you — he's still got some serious moves. On Thursday, the 70-year-old actor got a quick dance lesson from his fellow costars on NBC's The Good Place while on set, and he's a pretty quick learner. In the hilarious video, William Jackson Harper, who plays Chidi Anagonye on the show, is teaching Ted how to do the floss dance — a move in which you thrust your hips side to side while simultaneously swinging your arms in the opposite direction. If it sounds simple and confusing at the same time, that's because it kind of is.

While William tried to show Ted a slowed-down version of the dance, Kristen Bell, who plays Eleanor Shellstrop, and D'Arcy Carden, who plays Janet, joined in on the tutorial and gave Ted a few pointers. "You're thrusting. It's side to side," Kristen said, moving her hips. Ted's other costar Jameela Jamil, who plays Tahani Al Jamil, tweeted a couple more videos of Ted attempting to do the dance, adding, "No video in the world makes me happier than this one." Same, Jameela, same.

It took him a few tries to get the hang of keeping rhythm, but Ted eventually started to get it. Who knows, once he really gets the groove down pat, maybe we'll get to see him make a cameo in one of Drake's music videos. Watch the adorable video of Ted "Dancin'" (HA, get it?) above.
