Tiffany Haddish had the crowd cracking up within seconds of hitting the stage for the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Not only did it mark her first-ever appearance at the show, but she also made history as the show's first black female host [1] since the MTV award show began in 1992. When she announced that she'd be hosting the show back in February, she promised it would be hilarious [2], and she truly delivered.
The comedian and actress opened the show with a "Bodak Yellow"-inspired performance, reenacting Cardi B's SNL pregnancy reveal [3] after joking that Michael B. Jordan got her pregnant by making eye contact. She continued to channel famous women throughout the show, including everyone from J Lo to Audrey Hepburn to Meghan Markle [4].
