Comedian and TV host Wayne Brady may be known for his hilarious sense of humor and his funny antics from Whose Line Is It Anyway?, but in a recent interview with ET, he opened up about his personal struggles, saying he's been battling depression for years. "Having a bad day is one thing, having a bad week is another, having a bad life . . . " he said. "You don't want to move; you can't move in the darkness." He shared what it was like to hit rock bottom, explaining how it affected his relationships, his career, and his perspective. Wayne also revealed how he was affected by Robin Williams [1]'s death, saying that when it comes to talking openly about depression, there's a "double standard" in Hollywood. "It's actually cool to go into rehab for some people, but if someone says, 'I'm clinically depressed,' that sounds like someone's making something up. It's like 'Psst, you're not depressed.'"
