Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are engaged! On Tuesday, the Modern Family actress and former Bachelorette contestant shared Instagram posts that revealed a gorgeous beachfront proposal. "That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff," Sarah captioned a series of photos [1] from the special day. Wells shared a touching video of the moment he got down on one knee and slipped a ring on Sarah's finger, and it's set set to a sweet song called "I Like to Be With Me When I'm With You" by Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors.
The two, who first started dating in 2017 [2] after Wells slid into Sarah's DMs [3], cleared up engagement rumors earlier this year but made it clear marriage was the plan. On Jan. 4, Wells opened up about their relationship [4] to Us Weekly, saying, "Everyone thinks [Sarah and I are] engaged right now. We are not engaged, let me just say that. We just moved in together, so I think we're still kind of, like, feeling each other out, but . . . it's gonna happen eventually." Wells also said that he still has to get the ring, before reiterating, "We are not engaged, but . . . it's definitely going to happen."
The Hollywood duo has been making us swoon over the past year. Between their super sweet anniversary pictures [5] and their fun beach getaways [6], it's hard to not want the best for the lovebirds. Wells has even been supportive [7] of Sarah throughout her kidney transplant experience [8]. Congrats to the happy couple!
