LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 02: Actor Dwayne Johnson arrives at the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures'

Dwayne Johnson is rich, but just how rich are we talking? According to Men's Health, the 47-year-old actor's net worth [1] is now an estimated $220 million. I'll just let that sink in for a second.

So, where is Dwayne getting all that money from? Well, in 2019, Forbes declared The Rock the highest paid actor in the world [2] after he earned a cool $89.4 million between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019. Dwayne is set to "collect an upfront salary of up to $23.5 million" (his highest yet) for Jumanji: The Next Level and receives 15 percent of the earnings from high-grossing franchise movies.

In 2018, he was also crowned the highest paid actor in the history [3] of Forbes' Celebrity 100 list after he earned an income of $124 million from his films [4], such as Moana [5], Jumanji [6], and the Fast and Furious [7] franchise, as well as his HBO show Ballers (which earns him $700,000 per episode).

Dwayne reportedly makes around $25 million per role [8], but his social media presence is also a big factor in why he gets paid so much. The actor apparently adds an extra "seven-figure social media fee" to his movie contracts, which means that he's making money off of all the behind-the-scenes movie shots [9] and videos you see on his Instagram page.

Let's also not forget that The Rock was a wrestler on WWE for nearly 25 years and has his own production company [10], Seven Bucks Productions, as well as several endorsement deals [11]. Last year, The Observer estimated that Dwayne made around $15 million from his endorsement deal with Under Armour [12] and another $15 million from his deal with Ford. Not to mention, he's launching his own tequila brand [13] very soon. Yep, it's good to be Dwayne.
