Before Roman found success with the WWE, he played defensive end for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Roman revealed that the best part of college football was "the relationships." "Especially in college, it's such a crucial time for an adult to find his way and do the right things."
