We were all a little shocked to find out that Glee star Naya Rivera secretly tied the knot [1] with actor Ryan Dorsey in Mexico last weekend. Not only did we have no idea he and Naya were a couple — they have apparently been friends for four years and hooked up a few months ago — but it was also kind of crazy to find out that the pair reportedly got married on the same date [2] that Naya had planned to wed her ex-fiancé, rapper Big Sean [3].
After their nuptials, Naya and Ryan gave a statement to People [4], saying, "We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife. Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for." So, just who is Ryan Dorsey? Here's what we know about him so far.

He's a working actor.
Ryan has starred in the short films Groovin' On and Unspoken. He's also had small roles on TV shows, including Southland, Parks and Recreation, and most recently the TNT period drama Mob City, which was canceled in February.
He's from West Virginia and was named Cosmopolitan's West Virginia Bachelor of 2011.
In his Cosmo write-up from that year [6], Ryan describes himself as "compassionate and driven" with a preference for "Brazilian" grooming styles on women. Here's what Ryan said makes him "boyfriend material":

He really loves dogs.

He had to shave his head for a movie role and donated his hair to charity.

The movie he's currently shooting is called Blood Father.
