NBC's The Wiz Live was a smash hit last week [1], and it wasn't long before a childhood video of Beyoncé singing one of the musical's biggest songs began to go viral. In the clip — which is from Houston's Sammy Awards — a 7-year-old Bey belts out the ballad, which was originally sung by Stephanie Mills in the Broadway production and Diana Ross in the 1978 big-screen adaptation. Not only does she nail the solo, but it's also hard not to notice how much she resembles her 3-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter [2].
