Six months after leaving One Direction [1], Zayn Malik has made another major change in his life: he called off his engagement to his longtime love, Perrie Edwards [2]. People reveals that Zayn contacted the Little Mix singer two weeks ago to tell her it was over. "She's been putting on a brave face as Little Mix have had promotion to do," a source tells the magazine, "but she's obviously devastated."
The former couple, who became engaged in August 2013 [3], are also both currently in LA but have not seen each other. Perrie's bandmate Jesy Nelson also hinted at the breakup on Monday when she posted a photo of Perrie on Instagram without her engagement ring.
