Zayn Malik was spotted getting some sun at his rented Miami home on Tuesday, just hours after confirming his split from girlfriend Gigi Hadid [1]. The former One Direction member went shirtless [2] and showed off his many tattoos — including the one on his chest resembling Gigi's eyes [3] — as he relaxed by the pool. Zayn and Gigi ended their relationship after two years of dating; after reports stated that the two drifted apart, both stars confirmed the sad news on their social media accounts.
"Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship [5]," Zayn wrote. "I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision." The model followed up with her own statement, saying, "I'm forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. . . . As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be."
