Well, well, well — it looks like there may have been some truth to the Tom Holland and Zendaya dating rumors [1] after all. After years of playing coy about their are-they-or-aren't-they romance, the Spiderman: Homecoming costars [2] were spotted sharing a passionate kiss inside of the actor's car while stopped at a red light in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Zendaya [3] and Tom have been the subjects of romance rumors [4] ever since they starred together in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. At the time, a source told People that "they started seeing each other [5] while they were filming Spider-Man." Another insider told the publication, "They're both really ambitious and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth."
However, both Zendaya and Tom had remained adamant [6] that there was no truth to the rumors. "We are friends," Zendaya [7] previously told Variety. "He's a great dude. He's literally one of my best friends." Meanwhile, Tom called Zendaya a "mate [8]" in a birthday post back in 2018. Neither Zendaya nor Tom have yet to publicly address the status of their relationship, but the photos speak for themselves.
