Zoe Saldana Talks About Loving Sex — Sweet or TMI? 2010-03-11 12:00:00

Zoe Saldana Talks About Loving Sex — Sweet or TMI?

Zoe Saldana is all over the place due to the wild success of Avatar, and her voluminous gown at Sunday's Oscars ended up being the one most searched online Monday. The designer of her dress isn't the only thing Zoe's willing to share, though, since she was more than happy to talk about sex in April's Essence. On the act, she said, "Love it, love it, love it — can’t live without it! I love sex. I love skin. I don’t believe the body is something to hide. I think in American society we’re messing up our kids by taking away the education on and awareness of our sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns and video games — and we’re breeding little criminals." Tell us what you think of Zoe's quote — sweet or TMI?

Anonymous #19 YOU seem really old fashioned for thinking that just because a woman says she loves sex she has to be promiscuous or that it has anything at all to do with prostitution! Women CAN love sex and be completely faithful if you didn't know.

How is that over-sharing?! it's 2010, women are allowed to love sex and talk about it.

love her, but this time she over-shared a tad...not a lot, just a tad.

Love it. I love how she actually says what she thinks. Honestly, I'm tired of people so terrified to be honest about their feelings. While, yes, I think that we should be responsible for how we say our honest feelings and opinions, but I find nothing "too much" about what she had to say.

I think the better, healthier attitude about sex is one that is candid, open and honest. It's the most completely natural thing we do as human beings so why attach all this guilt, shame or secrecy to it. That does no one any good. If bringing to a discussion of youth and society awareness, however, maybe it's good idea to add in a reminder to the kids that safe sex is best. LOL.

How is that TMI?And the reaction to her comment proves her point.

I don't think it's TMI when you're commenting on society like that, it's not like she said "I love sex especially when my bf does that thing..." or anything personal.

love Zoe! there's nothing wrong with a strong beautiful sexual woman. it's 2010, it's time we stop punishing women for expressing their sexuality.

I don't know what it is with these celebs feeling the need to over-share...

Love Zoe and loved the quote. So very true - we as a society are more willing to allow our kids to watch some psycho decapitate someone instead of a love scene in a movie. And we wonder why so many people are so messed up in the head...

TMI!! These celebs really annoy me with their stupid quotes. I do, however, like Zoe very much. Just not this particular interview.
