We've finally reached the end of 2020, and boy, what a year it was! Even though we experienced some of the toughest times of our lives, there were a handful of pop culture moments that helped us make it through. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunited [1] not once but twice [2] — yes, that happened this year! Jennifer Lopez [3] and Shakira [4] made the Latinx community feel seen with their statement-making Super Bowl halftime show performance [5], and Beyoncé put out "a celebratory memoir [6] for the world on the Black experience" with Black Is King. Oh, and did you think we forgot about Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" collaboration [7]? We're still fanning ourselves from it! See, 2020 wasn't all that bad. January: Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston Reunited at the Screen Actors Guild Awards

February: Jennifer Lopez and Shakira Brought the Heat to the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show
Shakira [10] and J Lo's performance had everything we could have asked for: sexy outfits [11], incredible dance routines [12], powerful statements [13], and a special appearance from J Lo's daughter [14], Emme.
March: John Krasinski Delivered Some Good News
John was on a mission to keep our spirits up during the start of the coronavirus pandemic, and he succeeded with his Some Good News YouTube series [15].
April: Stars Used Their Platforms For Good
From Meghan Markle [16] and Prince Harry to Dolly Parton and Oprah Winfrey [17], it was inspiring to see how many celebrities stepped up [18] and made a positive impact during the pandemic.
May: Lady Gaga Blessed Us With Her Chromatica Album
After four long years, Lady Gaga [19] finally came through for us and dropped her sixth studio album [20]. Her collaboration with Ariana Grande [21] alone was worth the wait!
June: Matt James Became the First Black Bachelor
The real estate broker made history as the first-ever Black lead for season 25 of The Bachelor [22]. He is the second Black star of the franchise, following Rachel Lindsay, who was the Bachelorette [23] in season 13. Matt's season of The Bachelor [24] is set to premiere on ABC on Jan. 4.
July: Beyoncé Gifted Us Black Is King
Beyoncé [25] — need I say more?
August: Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion Had Us Clutching Our Pearls With "WAP"
The female-empowerment anthem [26] heard all around the world. Not only did it debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 [27], but it also did so with 93 million US streams, which is the most ever for a song in its opening week. Yep, Cardi and Megan did that!
September: Schitt's Creek Swept the Emmys
To be exact, they took home a whopping nine awards [28] and set the Emmy record for number of awards won by a comedy in a single season.
October: Rihanna Managed to Outdo Herself Once Again With Her Savage X Fenty Show
The second installment of her sexy lingerie show [29] included appearances by Lizzo [30], Bella Hadid, and Indya Moore, as well as performances by Rosalía, Ella Mai, Bad Bunny, and Travis Scott. When will your fave?
November: Joe Biden Was Declared the President-Elect
And Kamala Harris [31] made history as the nation's first woman vice president [32]! This was hands down the best news of the year.
December: Mariah Carey Came to Save Christmas
The Queen of Christmas spread some holiday cheer by giving us what we needed: a reading list [33], a powerhouse collaboration [34] with Ariana Grande [35] and Jennifer Hudson [36], a Christmas playlist [37], and a star-studded Christmas special [38]. Thank you, Mariah!
