Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have been together for over a decade [2], and the couple still seem very in love [3].

In celebration of her birthday on July 18, Hemsworth took to Instagram [4] to share a black-and-white photo of himself wearing an apron, seated on Pataky's lap on the set of "Thor: Love and Thunder." "Happy birthday to this gorgeous lady!" he wrote in the caption. "Thanks for always being my rock to sit on but way comfier. Love you @elsapataky ❤️🎉."

While the pair are generally very affectionate towards each other, it seems like they're also honest. In a July 7 interview with USA Today [6], Hemsworth revealed that his wife wasn't a huge fan of his Thor muscles. "My wife was like, 'Bleh, it's too much,'" he said. "There are a lot of my male friends who are like, 'Yeah!' but a lot of female friends and family are like, 'Yuck.'"

Hemsworth and Pataky have been open about their love affair and the trials and tribulations of raising a family over the years. The pair share three children [7], all of whom had cameos in "Thor: Love and Thunder." Hemsworth frequently expresses his love for his family, calling his daughter India his "favorite superhero" [8] and often sharing cute moments [9] with his family. Through it all, his love for Pataky has remained constant. "There was no light-bulb moment," he said to Elle [10] in 2015 of his relationship with his wife. "From the first time we met, we just made sense. She's fun. She's outgoing, and she has a sense of humor and a passionate attitude toward life, which is nice to try to keep up with."
