Not only does the picture feature Elliot's first swim trunks, it's also the first shirtless [5] photo the actor has featured on his Instagram since undergoing top surgery earlier this year [6]. We weren't the only ones to notice Elliot's joyful display — his The Umbrella Academy [7] family also got in on the fun, with Justin H. Min commenting "okkk summer ready," Emmy Raver-Lampman adding "OMG! Elliot publicly came out as transgender in December 2020 [8], saying in a letter, "I can't begin to express how remarkable it feels [9] to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self." Since then, he's opened up more about his identity in interviews with Time [10] and on The Oprah Conversation [11].
