Halsey stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show [1] on Wednesday to chat with the host about all the happenings in her busy life and ended up getting a big fright. The 25-year-old singer talked about her record-breaking collaboration with BTS [2], appearance on Saturday Night Live [3], and charity Halloween [4] party that she hosted on Oct. 25. Of course, Ellen also asked her about new boyfriend Evan Peters [5], who the young star hung out with at the spooky soirée [6] before they made their red carpet couple debut [7] the following day.

But before Halsey could say much about her beau, she fell victim to Ellen's classic scare bit [8] as a man popped out of a table, causing her to scream.
