Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid are pretty private when it comes to talking about their romance, but it seems like they may be getting more comfortable. During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live! [2], the 24-year-old singer [3] revealed exactly how her romance with the 20-year-old model came to be.
When Andy Cohen asked Dua if she's ever slid into any celebrity's DMs, she revealed that after meeting Anwar at a BBQ, she casually slipped into his. "I have a confession to make, and mine was my boyfriend — so my current boyfriend. I definitely did that," she said. "We actually met at a BBQ, but it then carried on onto DMs."
Dua and Anwar first sparked dating rumors back in July 2019 when they were photographed getting cozy [5] at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival. However, it wasn't until that September that they finally confirmed their relationship when they made their first public appearance [6] as a couple at New York Fashion Week.
