Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler are back together again! On July 19, as a reminder of days gone by, Christopher Meloni [2] and Mariska Hargitay [3] reunited in an Instagram post, which Mariska captioned: "It's on [4]." While I'm not entirely sure what is "on," I do know that the pair are back and looking better than ever. I mean, come on, the unbuttoned shirt, the grins on their faces, it's really all too much for this fan's heart.

It's no secret that the two have been friends for a long time, with Chris saying during The Paley Center Salutes Law & Order: SVU Special that they "hit it off right from the get-go [5]." They've also appeared on each other's Instagrams [6] over the years (pictures of which I may or may not have saved on my phone), showing that their bond has continued since Chris initially left Law & Order: SVU [7] in 2011 after 12 seasons. In addition to Chris's new Stabler-centric series Law & Order: Organized Crime [8], the actor is set to appear on Law & Order: SVU's season 22 premiere [9]. Thankfully, this means we have more Christopher and Mariska content to look forward to!
