Unlike some celebrities whose careers fizzle out after a few years, actor Meagan Good has had a long-lasting acting career that spans over two decades. Good first got her start in television in the early 1990s before landing a main role in Nickelodeon's sitcom "Cousin Skeeter," which lasted from 1998 to 2001.
Throughout the 2000s, Good appeared in a number of popular films, like "Deliver Us From Eva," "Roll Bounce," and "Stomp the Yard," to name a few. In recent years, Good is most recognized for her role as Mya in the "Think Like a Man" films and Camille in the Prime Video series [1] "Harlem."
While the actor has maintained a busy schedule over the years, she's also found time for romances here and there. Though her official list of boyfriends is short, most recently, she was married to DeVon Franklin [2] for nearly 10 years. They announced their separation [3] in December 2021.

50 Cent (2002-2003)
Good and 50 Cent dated for roughly a year in 2002. During that time, Good famously starred as his love interest in the "21 Questions" music video.
Over a decade after their relationship ended, Good explained why she kept their brief romance a secret in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked [4]. "That was over a decade ago when we dated, and it was for about a year. And I kept it under the radar intentionally because at that time in my career, I'd just come off of 'Biker Boyz,' I'd just done the music video, and my career was going in a really great way, and what I didn't want was my connection to him to be the catalyst in any type of success that I had," she said.
Good added: "People would be surprised at what a nice human being he is. You have to remember, this was someone who was raised by their grandmother, so by all accounts, even what you see in the public eye is not necessarily a true representation of that person's heart. And I wouldn't have been with someone who was a negative person or a mean person or whatever it was."
Thomas Q. Jones (2007-2010)
Good dated former NFL star Thomas Jones on and off for three years from 2007 to 2010. In an interview with Essence [5], Jones touched on how the two made their relationship work with their busy schedules. He said, "I look at it as something I want to do, and we take it one day at a time. I don't look at it like it's work. The reality is I work in New York and she works in LA, but we are fortunate we have jobs where it's flexible."
Not much is known about Good's relationship with Jones, but by 2010, the couple called it quits allegedly because the former football player was unfaithful, per The New York Post [6].
Soulja Boy (2008)
Sometime in 2008 while Good and Jones were taking a break, the "Think Like a Man" actor briefly dated the rapper, though the relationship went sour pretty fast. After their fling, Good allegedly wrote a scathing tweet about her former beau, claiming that their romance ended. "No, me and soulja boy aren't together lololol that ship has sailed. apparently, he doesn't like chicks. :( :( :(," Good tweeted (via Rapdirt.com [7]).
DeVon Franklin (2011-2021)
Good started dating producer DeVon Franklin in 2011 while working on the film "Jumping the Broom," per People [8]. The pair hit it off immediately, but they had known each other for years before taking their relationship to the next level. After a few short months of dating, Franklin proposed to Good in March 2012, according to Us Weekly [9]. The couple married just a few months later in June 2012, with 400 guests present for the special ceremony.
Over the course of their marriage, Franklin and Good wrote a book together titled "The Wait," in which they detailed how they made the choice to refrain from sex before getting married. Though Good was initially apprehensive to the idea, she revealed in the book (via NBC News [10]), that being chaste with Franklin gave her the freedom and time to heal from her past relationships and traumas.
However, in December 2021, the couple announced that they were separating [11] after almost 10 years of marriage. "We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There's no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love," the two said in a joint statement.
Following their split, Good called their decision to divorce "the most painful thing I've ever experienced in my life," but later said that their relationship was overall incredible. "What he's given into my life and what I was able to give to him, just everything. Every season, every single part of it has been incredible," Good explained in a 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight [12].
