Being neighbors with Meghan Markle [2] and Prince Harry clearly has its perks! On Sunday, Oprah Winfrey [3] — who lives in the same Montecito neighborhood [4] as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex [5] — revealed the sweet Christmas gift she received from Meghan: Clevr's SuperLatte mix [6].
"On the first day of Christmas my neighbor 'M' sent to me ... a basket of deliciousness! (Yes that M👑)," Oprah wrote on Instagram. "My new drink of choice for the morning and night. Wish I had @clevrblends sooner cause I would've added it to my Favorite Things list. #HappyHolidays." In the accompanying video, Oprah showed us all how to make a Golden SuperLatte while minding Meghan's instructions. "It's delicious," she said of the wellness gift, which also included the Matcha SuperLatte blend.
Turns out, Meghan is a private investor [7] for Clevr Blends. "The Duchess has made her first private investment," a spokesperson for Meghan told People about her involvement with the woman-led wellness company. "She is an investor in the company." Clevr Blends specializes in a variety of nutrition-rich lattes and donates a percentage of its monthly profits to US organizations fighting for food justice.
Meghan and Oprah have been friends [8] for quite a few years now. In fact, Oprah even had the honor of attending Meghan and Harry's wedding [9] in May 2018, and she is also pals with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland. Watch Oprah gush over Meghan's thoughtful Christmas gift in the video below.
