Michael B. Jordan Makes First Public Appearance Since Lori Harvey Breakup

Michael B. Jordan enjoyed a casual night out at the NBA Finals on June 5 following his breakup with Lori Harvey. The "Creed 3" actor attended game two of the Celtics vs. Warriors series with Cordae on Sunday. Jordan's courtside appearance wasn't missed as his Jumbotron close-up at the Chase Center in San Francisco almost immediately went viral on social media.

Jordan's outing comes a day after news broke of his split from Harvey. According to People, a source said the breakup left each of them "completely heartbroken." "Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term," the source added. "He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other."

Harvey and Jordan dated for a year and a half before calling it quits, though the reason for their breakup is still unknown. The former pair first sparked dating rumors in November 2020 before they made their relationship Instagram official two months later. Harvey and Jordan shared countless memories while together, including date nights, red carpet events, and intimate holiday gatherings.

Their romance even gained the approval of Harvey's father, Steve, who previously noted that Jordan is a "really good guy." On June 6, the radio-show host addressed the couple's breakup during "The Steve Harvey Morning Show," saying that he's "team Lori, 1,000 percent." He added: "She's my daughter. I love her, I support her . . . as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends . . . I ain't heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing. As long as you don't put your hands on my daughter, I don't give a damn what you do."

In his November 2021 cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan shared that he "finally found what love was" because of his relationship with Harvey. And in Harvey's January cover story for POPSUGAR, she predicted that in five years, she'd have a baby and hopefully be married.

The two have yet to address their split publicly, but Harvey has since removed all photos of Jordan from her Instagram. Jordan's posts of Harvey, however, remain on his page. It's unclear where the former will go from here, but a source told People that they "still love each other."
