With her Oscar trophy [2] in tow, Michelle Yeoh recently returned to her native Malaysia. Following a whirlwind award season [3] and "Wicked" filming in London [4], the "Everything Everywhere All at Once" star continued to celebrate her accolade at home with her family. On April 12, she shared a sweet photo of her mom, Janet, holding the gold statue with a proud smile on her face. In another photo, Yeoh held her trophy in front of her late father Datuk Yeoh Kian Teik's grave, where it appears her family gathered for a visit.

"Brought Mr. O home."

"Brought Mr.O home... Without my parents love and trust and support... I wouldn't be here today... love so much," she captioned the post, including a series of heart emoji.

Yeoh made history [5] on March 12 when she won the Oscar [6] for best actress for her role in "Everything Everywhere All at Once." Once her name was announced, she delivered a beautiful acceptance speech devoting the award to moms [7] everywhere, but specifically her own mother. "I have to dedicate this to my mom, all the moms in the world, because they are really the superheroes," she said after thanking the film's cast and crew. "And without them, none of us will be here tonight. She's 84 and I'm taking this home to her."

Yeoh's mother Janet celebrated her daughter's win from a viewing party in Malaysia [8], alongside their family and friends. "I so love my daughter and she has made Malaysia proud," she said at a news conference afterward, according to the Associated Press [9].

The actor's father died [10] in November 2014 at age 89 after battling an illness. Yeoh was reportedly by his side during his final moments.
