How All of the Jonas Brothers Met Their Wives

Whether you loved Kevin, Joe, or Nick growing up, most Jonas Brothers fans fantasized about one day becoming Mrs. Jonas. While that dream didn't exactly work out for the rest of us, the brothers did end up with some incredible women, though Joe and Sophie Turner have since called it quits.

Kevin was the first to tie the knot when he married his wife, Danielle, back in 2009, while his younger brothers found the loves of their lives more recently. Nick got married to Priyanka Chopra in 2018, and Joe exchanged "I dos" with Turner during a Las Vegas wedding in May 2019.

The Jonas Brothers, their wives, and all of their kids seem to have remained pretty close over the years. In January 2023, the family all gathered together to support the brothers' Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, where Nick and Chopra's daughter Malti also made her first public appearance. During their heartfelt speeches, each of the brothers thanked their wives for supporting them and their latest milestone.

Nick shouted out Chopra and said, "To my beautiful wife, you are the calm in the crazy, the rock in the storm, and I love being married to you. It is the greatest gift. I love being a parent with you." Meanwhile, Kevin told Danielle, "I love you so much. I could not have done this without you," per Good Morning America. "Your support for the past 15 years — you've seen us through all of it . . . thank you for everything." Joe also thanked Turner for her support and lovingly called her his "partner in crime."

However, it sounds like not all the brothers' wives have found it easy to be part of such an ultra-successful family. In a June 27 episode of the "LadyGang" podcast, Danielle told Kevin she does sometimes feel "less than" than her famous sisters-in-law. "It's a love-hate. I feel like I am torn," she said. "The two boys married somebody who, they're actresses, they're out there, everyone knows them. And I feel like I'm Danielle, and it's hard. It's also that I'm out there celebrity-wise because I've married you," she added, addressing her husband. "And that's where it's like, 'Oh, I wanna have something else to my name, too.' So that it feels . . . more than or like the other girls. 'Cause then when I'm with the other girls, I feel just less than sometimes. It's weird."

Her husband quickly reassured her that she's not alone. "I feel the same way with Nick and Joe, right? Like solo careers, movies, all this stuff," said Kevin. "It's like everyone has to find their place . . . No matter the situation, right? You'll always be compared to the women around you the most."

That's not the only tension among the Jonas sister-in-laws. On Oct. 13, fans noticed that Turner and Chopra had both quietly unfollowed each other on Instagram, though they still follow the rest of their in-laws. Turner also still follows her estranged husband. It's unclear if and/or why the two may be feuding, as they appeared to once be close. Back in 2018, Turner celebrated Chopra and Nick's engagement by writing to the former in a since-deleted Instagram post (via Insider), "I'm so excited to welcome you into the family." In April 2019, Chopra posted a photo with her sisters-in-law on Instagram and captioned it, "The #Jsisters are finally together!!," also tagging Danielle and Turner's handles.

Despite the recent happenings, all of the Jonas brothers have sweet love stories with their wives. So, how did all of their romances come to be? Learn more about the Jonas brothers' wives ahead.

How Did Kevin Jonas Meet His Wife, Danielle?

Kevin first met Danielle while their families were vacationing in the Bahamas in May 2007. Danielle was a hairdresser at the time, while Kevin and his brothers had just signed with Hollywood Records and were getting ready to release their second album. In fact, Danielle didn't even know who the Jonas Brothers were when she first met Kevin.

The two started dating sometime later that year and eventually got engaged in July 2009 when Kevin took an overnight flight to Danielle's home in New Jersey and proposed, per People. The couple tied the knot at Oheka Castle in New York on Dec. 19, 2009, with Kevin's brothers serving as his best men. In February 2014, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Alena, and in Oct. 2016, they welcomed their second daughter, Valentina.

After getting connected through a mutual friend, Nick slid into Chopra's DMs in September 2016. They eventually started talking via text message before meeting in person during the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty the following year. While Nick was blown away by the "Quantico" actor, that wasn't exactly the case for Chopra. "I didn't think that this would be what it turned out to be, and that's maybe my fault," she explained during the Women in the World Summit in NYC. "I judged a book by its cover."

However, after getting to know Nick better, Chopra fell pretty fast. Their relationship was officially confirmed in May 2018, and just two short months later, Nick popped the question while celebrating Chopra's 36th birthday. That December, they tied the knot in India during a few extravagant ceremonies. Fast forward to January 2022, the couple became parents after they welcomed their first child together, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogate.

Just like Nick and Chopra, Joe and Turner met through social media. "We had a lot of mutual friends and they'd been trying to introduce us for a long time," the latter told Harper's Bazaar UK in 2019. "We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue."

News of their relationship first broke in December 2016, and they got engaged nearly a year later. Following the Billboard Music Awards in May 2019, the pair tied the knot during a Las Vegas wedding, and that June, they held an official ceremony with family and friends in France. The couple are parents to two kids: their daughter Willa, whom they welcomed on July 22, 2020, and their second daughter (whose name has not been shared publicly), whom Turner gave birth to on July 14, 2022.

On Sept. 5, Joe filed for divorce from Turner after four years of marriage. The estranged couple confirmed their split with a joint Instagram statement that read, "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

The estranged couple's messy divorce has made numerous headlines, from Joe initially obtaining a divorce lawyer to Turner filing a lawsuit against her soon-to-be ex-husband over the custody of their kids. Though on Oct. 13, per court documents obtained by Page Six, Joe filed to dismiss his petition to divorce. The paperwork states that the two have reached "various agreements" and plan to "pursue an amicable resolution of all issues."
